Guerilla Shorts Showcases: 2023 Summer Edition
The end result of a quick turnaround storytelling outlet called The Guerilla Filmmaking Challenge. At this event, the completed films--which were made by aspiring filmmakers of all ages and all skill sets--will be showcased on the big screen!

About the Event
Since 2005, The Guerilla Showcase has celebrated filmmakers of all ages and all skill sets. Filmmaking teams were given specific criteria and a limited amount of time to put together 6-minute short films using any resources available to them. At this special showcase event, attendees will have the unique opportunity to experience these wildly creative short films in a theatrical environment alongside the passionate storytellers that put them together. There will be cash prizes and awards handed out to the strongest films of the lot with the winner of the 1st place jury prize going on to have a premiere slot at the upcoming Desertscape International Film Festival. We'll also ask attendees to get in on the action as there will also be an Audience Choice Award handed out. Come on out to The Electric Theater on Saturday, June 17th at 7 PM and support aspiring filmmaking talent.
