THE GUERILLA FILMMAKING CHALLENGE: THE 2025 NEW YEAR EDITION
Attention Utah-based storytellers of all ages and all skill sets; Have you ever wanted to make a short film but weren’t sure where to start? If this is the case, then the Guerilla Filmmaking Challenge might just be right up your alley. Start the new year off right and get in on this creative storytelling adventure.
Challenge participants will be given criteria and a few rules and guidelines, and then…It’s off to the cinematic races. Filmmaking teams will have just over a month to create 5-minute short films using any resources available to them. If you’re newer to the game, fear not as the folks at Film and Media Alliance of Southern Utah and Southern Utah’s Guerilla Filmmaking Challenge are always but a call away for advice and assistance.

Early Bird Registration
Early Bird Registration for the 2025 New Year Edition of the Guerilla Filmmaking Challenge receive $5 off the regular registration price as well as an extra 60 seconds towards your film’s running time. Translation; Your fee is $45 instead of $50 and 6 minutes to use towards your runtime instead of 5 minutes.
